My Practice:

My work is characterized by individualized approach to each person or a couple. Having had training in psychoanalytic, cognitive, spiritually informed psychotherapies as well as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), I assess each person or a couple and design an individualized treatment plan and approach. I have been told that I am fairly active in sessions and am honest and straight forward in my feedback without being harsh or unempathic. I am supportive and optimistic, while always based in reality. Having lived in New York City most of my life, I understand its competitive, financial and personal challenges affecting work, marriage and family, dating and other aspects of daily life. In addition, I am fluent in Russian and understand immigrant experiences and adjustments to living in a foreign country.
